Hveragerði 是建在 Hellisheiði 高原脚下地热田上的小镇。全镇的花园和喷气孔都升腾着蒸汽，温室利用天然热能种植蔬菜和花卉，市中心还有一座地热公园，可以近距离观赏温泉。
